Go MN!

Go MN! helps Minnesotans with disabilities explore employment opportunities in our state’s growing transportation industry.

What is the Go MN! program?

Go MN! is a new program that gives people without a lot of experience in competitive integrated employment the opportunity to explore work in Minnesota’s growing transportation industry. Go MN! believes everyone is ready for something and embraces the idea that small successes lead to further success. People are treated as individuals with unique capabilities and interests.

How does Go MN! work?

Go MN! connects people with a team dedicated to helping them identify their skills and interests in the transportation industry. The team works with people and businesses to find just the right opportunities. People in Go MN! move at their own pace toward employment with job tours, informational interviews, job shadows, internships, short-term work experiences, and obtaining a job.

Why the Transportation Industry?

Go MN! provides people a chance to explore the wide range of job opportunities in a dynamic, growing industry that is also facing a workforce shortage. In addition to drivers and pilots, the transportation industry includes jobs as diverse as data entry, package handler, production scheduler, shipping and receiving clerk, operations manager, dispatcher, import/export clerk, gate agent, train operator, fleet manager, and hundreds more.

If you are an employer and would like to learn more about the program or get involved, please contact Alicia Brown, Go MN! Business Engagement Specialist, by calling or texting 218-830-8516 or by email at alicia.brown@state.mn.us.
