State Rehabilitation Council for the Blind

Overview

The State Rehabilitation Council for the Blind (SRC-B) acts as an advisory body to provide recommendations and a perspective from the community of the visually impaired, blind, and deafblind to State Services for the Blind on programs and services they provide to qualified Minnesotans.

The SRC-B is mandated by both state and federal law. The council meetings are held a minimum of six times a year.

The list of member positions are posted on the Secretary of State website under the State Rehabilitation Council for the Blind and are officially appointed by the governor of Minnesota to a three-year term. Members are allowed to serve up to two consecutive terms. A list of members and their profile can also be found by visiting the Appointments and Members section on this page.
