New Magazine Spotlights Minnesota’s Many Advantages

It may be cold outside, but Minnesota is a hot spot for business. You can see the proof in this new magazine.

Minnesota: Thriving in the North highlights Minnesota’s dynamic business climate and enviable quality of life. It’s chock-full of stories, graphics and photos that illustrate why Minnesota was named America’s #1 State for Business in 2015 by CNBC.

thriving-in-the-northIn both print and digital versions, the publication is part of a larger DEED initiative to promote the state’s advantages for business investment and expansion, its legacy of innovation and its appeal as a place to live.

Featured articles in the 2016 edition include:

  • Minnesota’s Agriculture, Food Manufacturing Feed the World

The 2016 magazine also has articles about other key Minnesota business sectors, including advanced manufacturing, banking and financial services, biotechnology and life sciences, and clean energy.

Minnesota: Thriving in the North is published by Journal Communications in partnership with the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED). It is supported by businesses and economic development organizations across the state.
