Business Development Funding

Our business development funding programs are targeted toward projects that are likely to result in economic growth. Our goal is to help stimulate new business development and business expansions while retaining existing jobs and creating new jobs.

Minnesota Investment Fund

The Minnesota Investment Fund provides financing to help companies expand, add workers and retain high-quality jobs.

Greater Minnesota Public Infrastructure

Provides public infrastructure grants necessary for expanding or retaining jobs, increasing the tax base, or creating economic development opportunities.

Border-Cities Enterprise Zones

Provides tax credits for business investment, development, and job creation in qualifying cities.

Innovative Business Development Program

This program focuses on job creation and retention through the growth of new innovative businesses and organizations.

Transportation Economic Development Infrastructure Program

Available to communities for road and public infrastructure projects that create jobs and support economic development.

Airport Infrastructure Renewal (AIR) Program

Provide grants to counties, airport authorities or cities to keep or enhance jobs in the area, increase the tax base or expand or create new economic development.
