The unemployment rate ticked down to 2.9% in Minnesota in December from 3.1% in November on a seasonally adjusted basis.
The number of unemployed fell to 91,336 workers, and the number of employed decreased to 3,008,848 workers. The labor force shrank to 3,100,184 workers, and the labor force participation rate fell to 68.1%.
The U.S. unemployment rate to held at 3.7% in December on a seasonally adjusted basis. The labor force participation rate ticked down to 62.5%.
