eraf-faq1. Will a franchised business qualify for ERAF?

Yes, if the franchise is domiciled in Minnesota and meets all other ERAF requirements.

2. Will ERAF cover contracted or seasonal employees?

Yes, if they are an employee of the company and have a disability.

3. Do I need to provide proof of employee disability?

No, proof of employee disability is not required.

4. Would local government agencies (e.g., libraries) be eligible for ERAF reimbursements?

It depends on the size of the agency. If employee counts are part of a larger organization which total more than 500 employees, the agency would not be eligible. If employee counts are separate from a larger organization and less than 500 employees, they could be eligible.

No, while we understand that transportation is important for employees to get around, it is not something that is covered under ERAF.

7. Could the employer purchase a job coach thru a local vendor?

Yes, we can connect them with a list of providers that offer this service.

8. If the employee quits within a few months, would the employer need to pay the money back?

No, though we do hope that an employer would reach out to ERAF for support if the employee is departing due to a disability related reason

9. Is there a minimum number of hours for an employee?

No.
