The unemployment rate rose to 2.9% in Minnesota in June 2024 on a seasonally adjusted basis.
The number of unemployed increased to 91,318 people, and the number of employed decreased to 3,005,480 workers. The labor force shrunk to 3,096,798 workers, and the state's labor force participation rate declined to 67.8%.
The U.S. unemployment rate increased to 4.1% in June on a seasonally adjusted basis. The U.S. labor force participation rate rose to 62.6%.
