Minnesota’s population has increased by 51,556 people in the last year and has experienced a 5.1 percent growth rate since 2010 with the addition of 272,682 residents according to the Census Bureau. It’s a good sign, because population growth drives economic sustainability, especially in a tight labor market. However, not all areas are growing.
